Andrew Lobb

We met Andrew Lobb at the annual Gathering of the Community of Aidan and Hilda (UK) this June in Warwickshire. Andrew is a well known folk singer and, as his songs reveal, a bard of the Northumbria region. His passion for the land and his love of the saints of Northumbria shine through his music.

Charlotte Lobb, Andrew’s wife, is the membership secretary for the Community in the UK. To learn more of Andrew’s music or order CDs, visit his web site at www.andrewlobb.co.uk.

Pools of Light
This CD celebrates both the land of Northumbria and the mission from Iona eventually carried through by St. Aidan. Andrews songs are interspersed with commentary from author and retired Vicar of Lindisfarne, David Adam and Ray Simpson, the Guardian of the Community of Aidan and Hilda.
