The St. Aidan Resource List

In addition to our quarterly newsletter and prayer cards, we also offer a number of worship services that were part of the original documents first published by the St. Aidan Trust in the UK (now called “The Community of Aidan and Hilda”). Over the years those liturgies were revised and expanded and are now available in a four volume Celtic Prayer book which may be purchased from the UK web site: www.aidanandhilda.org.

However we still retain permission to sell the original versions, in both full size (81/2 x 11) and half sheet version. The difference between the two versions is in the copyright permission. The full size ($1.00 each) come with permission to duplicate for use in group settings. The half sheet (.50 each) are for individual use only. A complete collection (56 documents) of these resources is also available on a CD ($40). We are unable to take orders online but there is a resource list available on our Downloads page.

The liturgies are arranged in four categories:

• Daily Offices: This includes morning prayer services for each day of the week, midday, evening and night services and a form of the Holy Eucharist.
• Seasonal Offices: These are designed around the traditional seasons and festivals of the Christan calendar.
• Saints Days: Commemorating a selection of the Celtic saints
• Occasional offices: These are a variety of services for special occasions and events.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these items goes to support the work of the UK community.
