The St. Aidan Celtic Christian Trust - USA is an ecumenical ministry brought to the United States from Great Britain in 1994. It seeks to serve as a resource for Christians who seek the balanced spirituality and the gentle yet passionate evangelism that characterized the Celtic saints.

Our first resource is the Order of St. Aidan, an ecumenical evangelistic community following a spiritual discipline based on ten elements drawn from Celtic Christianity. The Order of St. Aidan is dedicated to Aidan of Lindisfarne, a seventh century Irishman who came from St. Colum Cille's (Columba) Celtic community of Iona in Scotland to the Anglo-Saxon kingdom of Northumbria. This crossing of cultural boundaries, along with the number of non-Celts numbered among the Celtic saints speaks of the ability of this spirituality to carry the Gospel beyond the boundaries of culture.

The St. Aidan Trust also provides a number of resources which include services for daily prayer, special services around various saints in the Celtic Christian tradition, services for special occasions or times of the year and a series of prayer cards.

The St. Aidan Trust is also available to conduct retreats, parish weekends and conferences on a number of subjects related to Celtic Christianity including but not limited to Celtic prayer, Biblical creation spirituality, and Celtic style evangelism.
